The internship took place in Greece on May 17-28, 2021.

During professional classes, students of Photography and Multimedia Techniques improved their workshop under the guidance of a Greek photographer. Every day, the young people took photos in the open air, the subjects of which were indicated by the teacher. The students also took care of the photographic documentation of the entire stay in Greece.

Students from the profession of Hairdressing Service Technician improved their hairdressing skills working under the supervision of Greek hairdressers. They performed hair care and regeneration treatments as well as styled them. Part of the classes took place in hairdressing salons: „Maria” in Mesangala and Hair Art & Style in Pyrgetos. The students watched the classic cutting of women’s hair, the creation of various hairstyles and performed their own hair cuts, modeling and regeneration treatments with the use of Greek cosmetics.

Students from the Faculty of Graphic and Digital Printing Techniques and Fine Arts created projects using Adobe Creative software. The artists participated in the drawing open air in the town of Litochoro, capturing the details of Greek architecture on sketches. The trainees also visited the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa to learn about the works of the Greek artist Yannis Gaitis. The exhibition entitled „The crowd and the loneliness” will make the greatest impression.

In addition to practical classes, our youth realized a cultural program that included visits to the most interesting places in mainland Greece. They had the opportunity to see the complex of monasteries in Meteora, inscribed on the UNESCO World List, visit the city of Thessaloniki, take a boat trip during which they learned about the island life and traditions of the Greeks, hear interesting information about Platamon Castle, or try natural Greek dishes in a mountain village in Old Panteleimon. Both practical and cultural aspects have helped to expand students’ horizons and give them a chance for a better start in adult life.
