The team of the Kika Mobility Training Center Ltd. in cooperation with Powiatowe Centrum Edukacji i Kompetencji Zawodowych in Szczucin, took the role of intermediary partner for group of students from Szczucin, Poland in the frame of project “Transnational mobility of students, graduates and vocational education staff” under the European Social Fund, Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development. During the project named “Young, Competent, Modern” we have hosted  56 selected participants with 5 accompany person. The internships were in the field of Teleinformatics, Information technology (IT) and Mechanics, thereby they gained experience in their field of studies and become acquainted with the traditional Greek labor techniques. The priority of organized internships is the professional development of pupils among others, enabling them to acquire knowledge about the methods and solutions used in other European countries and to compare them with the methods and solutions adopted in Poland. The aim of the project was to increase the chances of young people on the local, regional and European labor market. Participation in foreign internships made it possible for students to acquire additional qualifications that are compatible with the assumptions of a competitive economy and meet the criteria required by employers. The implementation of the project also increased the feeling of solidarity and sense of building community between apprentices and employers, it allowed to develop strategic partnerships between the education sector and the business sector, which will have a significant impact on combating social exclusion in the region. In addition, the cooperation between institutions established in this way, the transfer of apprenticeships and increasing mobility within vocational education will consequently increase credibility and clarity when accepting professional qualifications. We hope we can continue our cooperation with Powiatowe Centrum Edukacji i Kompetencji Zawodowych.
